According to the New South Wales Government, protecting child abuse is everyone's responsibility. Recently, the new figures showed that the child abuse has remained unchanged but the community is not willing to report violence against children. The survey showed that people wouldn't report suspected child abuse mainly because they scared that they may be wrong and 42% of them ststed that it wasn't their business.Besides that, according to the latest NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics, there were over 20458 cases of child abuse. The 70% of the assaults included murder, domestic violence, sexual assault and robbery.

Children's well-being is everyone's responsibility. So that, if you suspect that child abuse happens around you, just report. With this, we can prevent many children from violence.

Aussie News 28:Hundreds race on sex dolls down Russian river
According to the St Petersburg Times, at the eighth annual instalment of a Russian race, there is a more than 500 people rode inflatable sex dolls down river. The competitors spent three minutes running down the Vuoksa River's Losevo Rapids in the Bubble Baba Challenge. The race was won by a St Petersburg man Vladislav Pavlenko who finished the race in 2 minutes 47 seconds. Actually, this race was first held in 2003. The participants of the race must be 16 years old and above who are tested for alcohol. Besides that, the participants are allow to replace the rubber doll with an inflatable animal or a rubber penis of an equivalent size.

Aussie News 27: Qantas jet makes emergency landing after engine explodes
In 31 August, a Qantas plane made an emergency landing after an engine exploded. The plane is a four-engine Boeing 747 which carried 212 passengers and departed from San Francisco International Airport for Sydney. One man said that there were a loud bang and flames coming out of the engine. According to Qantas spokesman, he said that none of the plane's passengers were injured. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
Comment:
Qantas should investigate the reason for the explosion and try to improve on the plane to prevent the accident to happen again. This is because they might not be so lucky for next time. So, as the saying goes "Prevention is better than cure".
Aussie News 26: Eighteen die while mushroom picking in Italy
In Italy, eighteen people were killed by falling into rocky crevasses and gorges while mushroom picking. The authorities claimed that an early and bountiful mushroom harvest in the Alphine valleys of northern Italy is attracting more people than usual, but most of them are not fully equipped. Seven of the deaths occurred in the Lombardy region, while the others happened in Piedmont and Trentino-Alto Adige. Recently, a 65-year-old woman were killed after falling down a steep rocky slope in a forest near the town of Sondrio.
