Aussie 22: France shuts beaches after crocodile spotted in the English Channel

After a crocodile was spotted lurking in the English channel, beaches in northern France have been closed and swimming was banned in some places to ensure the safety of the ordinary people. According to The Daily Mail newspaper, they stated that on Thursday, the crocodile stayed near to the sailing boat in the north-eastern port of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Besides that, there were two people claimed they had seen the crocodile. Therefore, the local council decided to close down the crowded local swimming areas at the height vacation season to prevent any undesirable incidents. In addition, they investigated all local zoos and amphibian centres to check whether any of their crocodiles are missing. The police, fire fighters and French army also carried out an intensive search for the reptile.

Comment:
Predators like crocodile, tiger, lion, bear and others pose dangerous to human beings. So, when local council announces that there has some animals around our place, please stay in safety area and coordinate with them.
