Aussie News 11: Argentina legalises gay marriage

Argentina was the first Latin America country that legalise the same-sex marriage. After this law has been implemented, the legal code of marriage in Argentina has changed from husband and wife to marrying parties. Besides that, the government says that the homesexuals will have the same right as the heterosexuals. Moreover, the same-sex couples can adopt children and get other benefits.

In my opinion, everyone has the right to choose on the life that they want and everyone should have the same right on everthing. So, we should respect homosexuals marriage. They are human too. They have the same right with other people. We should not discriminate them.

  1. It is always easier said than done.
We always said we do not want discrimination and eager to eradicate it. But without we knowing it, discrimination does happen. If it is not physically, there is still a large possibility that we cannot accept it mentally.

  2. Of course it is easier said than done and I have a firm belief that discrimination will never end and can never be eradicated. Sure, a society without any discrimination is definitely idealistic but is it realistic? Nothing is everyone's cup of tea especially matters such as homosexual.

However, such discrimination can be reduced and the first and foremost crucial step is by legally accepting it. Logically, how can the people accept such new trend if even the law doesn't approve it, right? After that, it's just a matter of time.
